Infill Plot, Birch Hill, Onchan.

Ayre Architects are working with the developer to maximise the potential of an established garden infill plot, creating a high-quality new home within the existing residential streetscape. The proposals comprise a four-bedroom detached bungalow with loft accommodation and an integral garage, alongside a new vehicular access, driveway, parking, landscaping and associated infrastructure. Building on an earlier approval in principle, the revised application takes advantage of an enlarged site to optimise the development potential of the plot while responding sensitively to its neighbouring properties and surroundings. The design demonstrates a considered approach to residential infill development, balancing efficient land use, high-quality accommodation, residential amenity and practical site access to deliver a well-integrated addition to the local area.
